Orange County Caregiver Awareness, Respite, Education (OC CARES) and Support (OC CARES) is a dedicated organization that provides both individualized and community support to caregivers. Their mission is to make Orange County a safe, healthy, and satisfying place to live, work and play, today and for generations to come, by providing outstanding and cost-effective regional public services. OC CARES has created a publication called Caregiver Tips for Caregivers (PDF). This document provides ten best tips that experienced caregivers would give to new caregivers, in their own words.

The tips are designed to help caregivers better manage their responsibilities and make life easier.
